Hello All,

It’s been quite the week in politics. We’ve seen a Chancellor, a Home Secretary, and the Prime Minister leave office. A leadership election is already underway with plans to appoint a successor by Friday 28 October. The process for choosing the new PM hasn’t been decided yet, but shortlisted candidates will be chosen quickly, with a caretaker PM leading the party into the next General Election. Truss will remain Prime Minister until her successor is appointed.

Government have scrapped plans to repeal the Off- payroll IR35 reforms. Unfortunately, the Treasury statement does not say why they are not continuing with the IR35 reforms, so we are stuck with Chapter 10 for the foreseeable future. Government claims that the changes are designed to provide confidence and ensure the UK’s economic stability.

Regardless of the politics, OMRA Healthcare Team remains focused on ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of service to our members and all the staff who registered as part of the OMRA family.

As the new big contracts from private and the NHS are on the horizon, as we revamp and develop our website for the latest technology and as we introduce our latest additions to our projects, we can assure you all of the best that we can offer in the business.
